Hi, I’m Ale!
I am a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in individual therapy and comprehensive psychological assessment for adults.
My approach in our work is warm and relational. Whether meeting for weekly sessions or for a brief assessment, my focus is on understanding the whole person; your history, relationships, and life context. I help clients make sense of long-standing patterns, identify strengths, and gain a clearer understanding of themselves. My aim is for sessions to feel deeply human and supportive of your goals.
My Training
I earned my doctorate from CSPP, Alliant International University, San Diego (2021). My clinical foundation was honed within the high-demand environment of university counseling centers, including UCLA and Montana State University, where I received rigorous training in both therapy and psychological assessment.
These experiences sparked a deep appreciation for the complexities of emerging adulthood. I specialize in helping individuals navigate the high-stakes transitions of student life, balancing academic pressure with the profound work of identity development and interpersonal growth. In my assessment work, I help students uncover how learning, attention, and emotional health intersect and contribute to their academic experience.
Building on my university counseling background, I completed advanced training in an outpatient clinical setting, expanding my practice to include longer-term psychotherapy. Today, I support both students and working professionals through a culturally-informed psychodynamic lens—fostering self-discovery, helping navigate major life transitions, and exploring relationship shifts necessary for long-term fulfillment.
